Description

OT 501 Intro to Old Testament - Designed to give students an understanding of the ancient Yahwists? (Israelite and Judahite) interpretations of their historic events as presented in the Hebrew Bible and to introduce them to critical study (particularly, the historical-critical method) of the Hebrew Scriptures, by which the students may interpret the Hebrew Scriptures on a scholarly and relevant basis.
