Description
This course is designed to create a learning community in which students will discover/re-discover the sanctity of written discourse. Students will interrogate the nature of relationship between oral, written, and multimedia texts while employing critical reading and writing skills to help develop authentic authorial voices. This course will equip students for the types of purposeful theological writing they will encounter and will be expected to produce throughout their theological educational career. This course will use the art of critical inquiry to explore narrative structure, critical reading, and reflective analysis through slave narrative texts.
