DM 712: Course Requirement
This course will provide an introduction to general research methodological practices in the social sciences and an overview of data collection methods and analyses including the benefit of using frequency and descriptive statistics in doctoral research. Participants will gain an understanding of the role of the researcher and of acceptable codes of ethics in the research process. This course will result in the completion of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) Application for research with human subjects and the methods chapter and data collection tools for the final doctoral project.
