The catalog informs students of expectations and includes general information about the institution’s mission, accreditation, and degrees offered, admissions and enrollment, registration and re-entry, academic resources, policies, and disclosures, programs of study and required courses, student services, course descriptions, administration and faculty credentials, and graduation requirements.
Hard copies of old catalogs are available in the Archives on the second floor of the L. Douglas Wilder Library and Learning Resource Center. Archived catalogs are maintained by the University Archives and Special Collections and may be accessed upon request through the University Archivist. Individuals seeking to review an archived catalog should provide the academic year needed, and the University Archivist will arrange secure access to the physical copy or provide supervised review of the document in accordance with University archival procedures. Request can be sent to Archives@vuu.edu
